Winter conferences will be held on February 1st, 6th and 8th before and after school. Please watch for a pink slip to come home with your student either today or Monday with your scheduled conference time. Please sign the sheet to verify your time and return it with your student ASAP. We look forward to meeting with you!

Our lost and found is getting pretty full! We have a lot of winter gear of all types. If your student is missing anything, please remind them to stop by the rack outside of the office to take a look. Parents are also welcome to take a look during their conference time! Thank you!

Tuesday, January 23rd - 5th grade trip to Orchestra Hall

Wednesday, January 24th - Device-Free Family Fun Night (5-6:30pm)

Friday, January 26th - All school morning meeting (Parents of CARES Champions invited to join)

February 1st, 6th and 8th - Winter conferences (8-9am and 4:30-7:30pm)

Monday, February 5th - No school for students

Monday, February 19th - No school for students and staff

Thursday, February 29th - 4th grade trip to Winter River (9:30-1)

Our volunteer coordinator is Sophie Castruita. She can help you with any and all questions regarding volunteer work at Fair Oaks. There are many events though out the year that we need volunteers to help make a success! If there is a chance that you will chaperone your student's field trips at all this year, we ask that you please fill out this application as well. Did you know Fair Oaks has its own Free Little Library! Students and community members are welcome to grab a book to enjoy. We are grateful to the Impact Library Program for donating the Free Little Library to our school community! Take a book or leave a book!

The Fair Oaks team works hard to create a united community that utilizes CARES to support all students in their learning! Students can earn badges for demonstrating CARES behavior. If your student comes home wearing a CARES badge sticker, please ask them about it!

We would love to invite the parents/guardians of our December and January CARES Champions (listed below) to join us for a light breakfast and our assembly on Friday morning, January 26th!

If you are interested in joining us to celebrate your child's accomplishments, please accompany your student to school on the morning of Friday, January 26th. You will enjoy a light breakfast together in our media center and then join us for our assembly that morning starting at 9:50am.

We look forward to celebrating your student with you!

Winter Gear

Please make sure that your child has appropriate outdoor gear for winter weather while here at school. Children do go outside daily for recess and our goal is to make sure they are warm and can enjoy this time! If your family needs assistance obtaining winter gear, please reach out to your child's teacher or to the front office and we will be happy to help!

Please make sure that your child has appropriate shoes for gym class each day. Students should be able to tie their own shoes, and/or have velcro or something that they are able to secure independently. Thank you for your assistance! We want to keep your child safe!
