Multitaskers
Tech Tip Tuesday (September 30, 2025)
We can’t learn them all, and that’s a good thing!
Every week, there's a new, flashy tool promising to solve all classroom problems. But with districts across the nation needing to cut back on unnecessary technology, teachers are being asked to choose what they can truly maximize.
The main goal remains student learning, and we love finding "what-if" ideas to fill our instructional tool belts.
Now is the time to focus that effort on tools that are powerful, all-in-one multitaskers.
Here are three core platforms that make teaching and learning easier with fewer tools.
See how you can maximize your impact!
1. Canva
2. Google for Education
3. Learning Management System
Join students worldwide in an exciting creative challenge to protect our planet: create an artwork that illustrates your commitment to caring for Earth, our planetary home, and this art will be launched into space aboard Blue Origin’s New Shepard rocket to inspire global action. This free, collaborative mission is brought to you by Take Action Global and the Space for Art Foundation (with Astronaut Nicole Stott) and your art will be returned to you with an official "flown in space" stamp.
To participate in this initiative, first imagine the future by thinking about practical ways you can help protect our planet and universe, committing to smart habits or values here on Earth. Next, consider your message by creating a short, positive statement that explains your commitment to caring for Earth as our planetary spaceship or your ideas for the future, such as "I plant trees every year" or "I will use less water." Finally, create and submit your artwork to express this vision using any preferred modality (drawing, digital art, etc.) without including personal information, and submit a photo or screencapture by November 1st; your creation will then fly aboard Blue Origin’s New Shepard mission and may also be featured in the global gallery or at a special Climate Action Day event.
