Principal's Message
Good Evening Weymouth High School Community,
In honoring Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we reflect on Dr. King’s unwavering commitment to compassion and humanity—values that guide us as a school community committed to belonging, growth, and excellence for every individual.
We are proud to share that Weymouth High School has been recognized on the AP School Honor Roll, which highlights schools doing outstanding work to expand access to Advanced Placement courses while supporting students through rigorous, college-level learning. This recognition reflects our commitment to welcoming students into AP courses, providing the academic support they need to succeed, and ensuring that all students are prepared for future college and career opportunities. Thank you to our dedicated staff that support our AP program.

Parent Council Meeting - 1/21/26
We will be holding our Parent Council meeting at 7 PM in the Library on January 21st. We do have a schedule change. We will have Brynn Cooper, our Director of Counseling, K-12 join us to discuss mental health awareness. CTE Director, Sam DePina, will be rescheduled for our February meeting to share valuable information about our programs, with a focus on the freshman exploratory experience and the selection process for 9th grade students.
Parent Conferences - 2/5/26 & 2/6/26
Parent/guardian conferences are scheduled IN-PERSON for Thursday, February 5th 5:00 p.m - 8:00 p.m and VIRTUALLY Friday, February 6th from 12:15 p.m - 2:15 p.m.
Each conference will be 7 minutes long. There are 2 minute breaks in between conferences.
We will be using an online parent/guardian sign-up system (PTCfast) to facilitate signing up for conferences. Online sign-ups will be open to parents on Tuesday, January 27th at 1PM.
To access the online system, you will need to have an active email address. To select your child/children’s teacher and time slots online, follow this link or type it into your web browser: http://ptcfast.com/schools/weymouth_high_school
TIP: the meetings are 7 minutes long. Teachers get 2 minutes in between conferences. For scheduling purposes, allow yourself at least 7 minutes to get to your next appointment--the school is large.
Mid-Year Exams
Please make sure your student is caught up with assignments and prepares appropriately for the exams. All students need to make sure they bring their chromebooks, charged, to their mid-year exams as many classes will be taking their exams through an online assessment platform called Edcite. This week would be a good time for students to assess their chromebooks and make sure they update their chromebooks. Here is the link to Update your Chromebook operating system, make sure you go to the “Check for updates yourself” section.
Mid-Year/Final Exam Expectations
Here is the MidYear Schedule.
Students are required to be present during their exam times.
Attendance will be taken at the exam. Students not present will be charged with absence from that class.
If a student is absent unexcused for a Mid-Year or Final Exam they will receive a 0 for the exam.
MidYear exams count for 10% of the final grade for full year courses.
Final exams count for 20% of the final grade for semester courses.

"SOUPer Bowl" 2026 Soup Drive
Weymouth Food Pantry & Franklin Food Pantry face off in "SOUPer Bowl 2026" Soup Drive. The Franklin Food Pantry is gearing up to defend its title as SOUPer Bowl Champion — but the Weymouth Food Pantry is ready to make sure that doesn’t happen in this year’s highly anticipated SOUPer Bowl 2026 canned soup competition.
The two pantries are asking their communities to donate cans of soup starting January 8, 2026. The pantry that receives the most soup by February 8, 2026, will be named SOUPer Bowl Champ 2026.
Here's how to get in on the game and support your pantry:
What: SOUPer Bowl 2026 (Canned Soup Drive)
Who: Weymouth Food Pantry vs. Franklin Food Pantry
When: January 8 to February 8, 2026

An Amazon Wish List has been created and any items you order can be shipped directly to our warehouse. Many of the soup options on the list can also be used for our Backpack Program here in Weymouth, making your donation go even further. Click on this LINK to view the wish list.
