Happy Holidays from Inside Broadway

From our Inside Broadway Staff and Teaching Artists, we wish all of our New York City Schools and Families a very Happy Holidays! We look forward to a fantastic 2025 season and can't wait to continue working with students all across the city as we strive to bring the joy of live theatre to future generations of artists!

Our most popular residency, Build A Musical gives your students the tools needed to present their own musical revue for the entire school community. Our professional Teaching Artists direct your students to take the stage with pride! This program uses the basic building blocks of musical theatre including acting, choreography and voice.

Let us help you reach your NYC Reads goals. Our specially-developed residencies use the power of performance to turn a selected book into a one-of-a-kind musical. Through this, our programs promote literacy and encourage classroom discussions. Through creative play, movement, and music, students take a deeper dive into the meaning of the text while building language and comprehension skills.

This crowd pleasing musical brings America’s favorite cartoon characters to life and into our city’s school auditoriums. The lessons Charlie Brown and the Peanuts gang learn are as important today as they were when they were first drawn by Charles M. Schultz. Songs such as My Blanket and Me, The Kite, The Book Report, Suppertime and Happiness leave students dancing in the aisles.

Our forty-five minute productions are specially designed to fit into a class period and connect to the curriculum. Inside Broadway’s productions are created by theater professionals and utilize professional actors who are members of Actors’ Equity Association and live musicians who are members of Local 802.
