- Attendance is taken every school day, in accordance to the school calendar
- Attendance is not taken on weekends or holidays
- Student's cannot work on holidays or weekends in order to substitute a school day
The online school automatically calculates attendance for students who: - Are working daily on coursework in the the Online School
- Attend and participate in daily assigned virtual online sessions with State- certified teachers, Monday - Friday in accordance with the school calendar (Class connects or recordings)
- Recordings must be watched the same day as the class connect before 10:59pm CT in order to count for attendance that same day if your student was absent during that class
- Attending required in-person state assessments such as STAAR, TELPAS, and STAAR EOC tests.

Can we gain attendance by using iPads, Tablets, or Chromebooks?
Unfortunately, mobile devices such as tablets, phones, and Chromebooks cannot be used as a primary device for accessing the Online School because they do not support all the necessary software products. They are not to be used as primary devices for daily attendance and should only be used for temporary & short term situations. Devices running the latest iOS, iPadOS, and AndroidOS can be used as supplemental & short term devices in some cases, but your experience may vary between different courses and different devices
