If you did not send a picture packet with your child to school on picture day, you still have the opportunity to order pictures online or by using the QR code on the packet. To use the online version contact PortraitMasters.com (School Code CCE0926). Picture Retakes are scheduled for October 28.
We will be having our Annual Jog-a-thon on Wednesday, October 14. Please make sure your child wears appropriate shoes and clothing and brings their refillable water bottle.
Our Jog-a-thon has funded field trips, assemblies, PE and Music equipment, yearbooks and much more over the years. Donation envelopes went home last week. They are due back to school by October 22 to be eligible for prizes. Students do not need to get donations to participate in the Jog-a-thon.

TRANSPORTATION NEWS
Updated bus schedules are now available on the district website. To ensure accurate end-of-day transportation plans, please confirm your arrangements at the start of each school year by completing a transportation designation form. You can obtain these forms from your student's teacher during Back to School Night, where a Transportation Department representative will also be available to answer questions. For specific bus inquiries, please contact the Transportation Department at 503-824-3534, or notify the elementary office at 503-824-3536 if your student will not be using bus transportation.
PARENT BUS REFERRAL
Please fill out this form if you either witnessed concerning behavior on your child's bus route or if your child reported something concerning to you from the bus that needs to be addressed. This referral form will go directly to your school's administrator for immediate follow up.

For more information on Pick Up and Drop Off specifics, please see the post below and follow the link to the Pick Up and Drop Off Procedures.
PARENT DROP OFF ROUTINE
As you have likely noticed, we have implemented a new drop-off routine in the mornings. To ensure effectiveness during morning drop off, we are asking drivers to fill the bus lane with at least 10 cars before unloading. We will rope off the crosswalk and let cars out once the full line has unloaded. This means that you do not need to be the first or second car to let your child out. Once you are parked along the sidewalk, you may let your student out. If you choose to park in the lot, be sure to follow the flow of traffic when you exit. Our goal is to greatly reduce tardiness for our students. More information about this process can be found in your emails from Mr. Buckner, and on our Facebook page! https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61579906207409
PICK UP/DROP OFF REMINDER
School dismisses students at 2:30PM. We appreciate you being on time to pick up your children. If you are late you may need to report to the office to check your child out with the school principal.
Please remember to use caution while driving through the school parking lots and follow the posted speed limit to help ensure the safety of our students. Friendly reminder- middle school students are still in session in the afternoons, so please drive cautiously through their school. Thank you!
