CAIS Chronicles

Dear Carmen Arace Intermediate School families,

Spring Break is here! We hope this time provides your child with a chance to relax, recharge, and return refreshed for the final stretch of the school year.

If you haven’t already, please take a moment to review your child’s third marking period report card in PowerSchool. Let’s continue encouraging our scholars to finish strong and put forth their best effort.

We’re thrilled to share that the APEX fundraiser was a huge success—thank you for your incredible support! Thanks to your generosity, we’re planning several exciting events, including a spring dance, class field trips, Field Day, Awards Night, and more.

Looking ahead, state testing is right around the corner:

• Grade 5 students will take the Science (NGSS) assessment on April 30 – May 1.

• All students will participate in the Reading and Math (SBAC) assessments from May 6 – 13.

Your encouragement, along with a good night’s sleep and a healthy breakfast, will go a long way in helping our students feel confident and prepared.

As always, we appreciate your continued partnership and support.

Sincerely,

Ms. Bunting

Our next Arace Parent Night, Navigating Your Child's Pre-Teens Emotions (click the link to register) will be on Thursday, April 24th at 6 PM. Community partners will facilitate a discussion that provides families with strategies and resources to support their child's social and emotional needs. We hope to see you there!
