Principal's Message
Vinewood Families,
We have officially arrived at our final week before Fall Break, and what a fun-filled week it will be! As we head into the last few days of the quarter, we are looking forward to celebrating our students, connecting with families, and wrapping up a wonderful first quarter together.
A huge THANK YOU to all of our families who joined us for Family STEAM Night! It was such a fun evening of creativity, exploration, and learning together. A special thank you to our event chairs, Mrs. Leyva and Mrs. Pilcher, for coordinating such a wonderful event, and to all of our staff members who spent their evening with our families. We are so grateful for the time, energy, and heart you put into making Vinewood such a special place for our students and families. Be sure to check out some of the awesome pictures below! Thank you as well to the families who attended our ELAC meeting this past Thursday. Your partnership and involvement are so important to us, and we appreciate the opportunity to continue working together to support all of our students. And our first graders had a swashbuckling good time on Friday with their Pirate Day! ๐ดโโ ๏ธ We love seeing our students learning, celebrating, and creating special memories together.
๐ Parent Conferences: Connecting Home & School
- This week is also an important opportunity for parent-teacher conferences. Conferences are more than simply a conversation about grades, they are a chance for teachers and families to celebrate student growth, talk about strengths, identify areas for continued growth, and work together to support each child's success. At Vinewood, we believe that strong partnerships between families and teachers help our students feel seen, valued, known, and supported. Thank you for taking the time to connect with your child's teacher and be an important part of their learning journey.
๐ A Quick Parking & Pickup Reminder
- Please be mindful of our designated parking and pickup locations. The front loop is for BUS PICKUP ONLY. We have had several families using the front loop for student pickup. For the safety and efficiency of our dismissal process, family pickup should take place in the parking lot, not in the front bus loop. Thank you for helping us keep our arrival and dismissal areas safe and running smoothly!

- Monday is our only FULL day this week! Starting Tuesday, we will have minimum days for the remainder of the week to accommodate parent-teacher conferences:
