Dear Parents and Students,
We had a wild day on Thursday with the lack of water and early dismissal. I want to thank you all for your patience as ensured that all students went home with the correct adult and everyone was accounted for. As always, we reflect on what could be different if there is a next time, what worked well and we are willing to take feedback.
Our plan was to have report cards mailed out on Friday but today put a little wrench in the plans. With that being said, we hope to have most of the report cards printed and mailed on Friday and the rest to go out on Monday. You can check grades in both ParentVue and StudentVue until they arrive by mail.
Within the envelopes, we are adding any fees that a student has from their time at Clio Area Schools. There will be instructions on where to send the money and who to contact with any questions. Thank you for you help with this.
Our 6th and 7th grade students will soon begin choosing their electives for the following school year. The options that are listed are not guaranteed to the student for their first choice. There have been times where the elective has not been offered due to staffing. We will try to do our best.
Students can register to purchase a Blizzard for next Thursday.
Wishing everyone a safe and enjoyable break! Blizzards are $5.00 each and students will RSVP in a Google form by April 15th. This is a fundraiser for Staff Appreciation. All extra funds raised will be used towards PBIS prizes, Mustang Market and field trips. Thank you in advance for supporting our entire staff.
Best regards,
Michelle
Bus Cards
This year, all students received a bus card that must be scanned each time they board the bus. Many students have chosen to keep their cards in their phone cases for easy access. Scanning the cards helps drivers keep track of who is on the bus, allows parents to monitor the expected arrival time, and helps ensure quicker routes.
However, several students have lost their cards. All students need to have their bus cards, as there will be a fee of $5.00 for each replacement card issued. Students can visit the office to request a replacement and make their payment at that time.
Thank you for your cooperation and support.
