Academies at Romeo
This state funded 12 x 6 foot installment highlights all of the local trades and how to access apprenticeship opportunities within those trades. One QR code will direct students to information on the career. A second QR code will direct students to the application page for the apprenticeship. RHS strives to prepare students for college, career and whatever might come after graduation.
Counselors' Corner
Your CTE Pathway Classes Can Earn You College Credit!!
Many colleges offer articulation credit to students who complete a state-approved CTE program in high school. (Which almost all Romeo students do, and many students complete multiple pathways!) This means you may be able to earn college credit or skip introductory courses in the field you’re pursuing, saving both time and money!
However, colleges don’t always award these credits automatically. You must ask! When meeting with your college counselor or advisor, be sure to tell them about the CTE pathway program(s) you completed here at Romeo and ask if it qualifies for articulation credit. Advocate for yourself! Your Romeo CTE experience could already be paying off!

2026-2027 FAFSA Form
The 2026-27 FAFSA is open! All current seniors planning to attend college should be working with their parents/guardians to complete this online application. The FAFSA form connects students to various forms of Federal and State financial aid programs. FAFSA is required for most State of Michigan financial aid programs, including the Michigan Achievement Scholarship. For example, students who complete the FAFSA will have access to free community college tuition through Michigan’s Community College Guarantee, which has no income criteria. Students can complete the FAFSA at StudentAid.gov. For additional information about the FAFSA, please visit our FAFSA resources page. The state of Michigan also offers helpful online presentations that families may register for. Additionally, Oakland University offers virtual financial aid workshops as a resource for all families.
