Our smallest learners will begin with us on Tuesday, September 2. We are so excited to see our 3 and 4 year old's in the building again! Welcome to Arnett!
If you are interested in having your 3 or 4 year old screened for preschool, please check out our Preschool Screening Information page on our website. We enroll all year, so we can enroll your child as soon as they turn 3 years old. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to someone in our preschool department.
We have a NEW SCHOOL APP that all families can download to their devices! YOU MUST BE LISTED AS THE CHILD'S GUARDIAN in Infinite Campus to be able to access the app.

This new app will allow for notifications, 2-way communication, etc. It will translate into over 100 languages for seamless communication. It is a one stop shop for all things EES! I will be posting our weekly newsletter on this as well.

If your child is sick, please call the school office before 9 am to let us know! You can also email Aubrie Dashiell, our attendance clerk, at Aubrie.Dashiell@erlanger.kyschools.us. If your child has a fever, please remember that they need to stay home from school until they are fever free for 24 hours without fever reducing medications (Tylenol, Ibuprofen, etc.). Please send a note in with your child when they return. Parents have up to 8 parent excuses each year, plus any doctor's notes if they go to the doctor. Doctor's notes do not count against "parent excused" sick days.
Your child will be counted tardy if they arrive after 8:00 or leave school before 3:00 pm. Students with 3 unexcused absences are considered truant. If you have any concerns about your child's attendance, please reach out to us for support.

School Based Decision Making Council
SBDM is our School Based Decision Making Council. SBDM is made up of teachers, parents, and the principal, and meets monthly to discuss budget, set policy, provide an environment to enhance the students' achievement and help the school reach its goals. Meetings are open to anyone who would like to attend.
This years SBDM members are:

Our Site Based Decision Making Council meets on the second Monday of every month in our school conference room. Our next meeting will be held on Monday, September 8, at 4:00 at Arnett.
