MUSTANG MINUTE

The 3rd Annual Freshman Career Expo is coming up on Friday, October 2, 2026. All freshmen enrolled in College and Career Exploration will travel by bus to the Dena’ina Center in Anchorage to explore future career pathways and discover opportunities beyond high school.

Students will visit 100+ booths featuring Alaska businesses and organizations, engage in hands-on activities, and connect with professionals across a wide range of industries. It is a wonderful opportunity for students to spark curiosity, discover new interests, and see how their classroom learning connects to future goals. We encourage families to chat with their students beforehand about what they hope to discover at the event.

Event Details

· Friday, October 2, 2026 | 12:30–1:45 p.m. | Dena’ina Center, Anchorage

· Eligibility: Freshmen enrolled in College and Career Exploration

· Permission forms were completed as part of the school registration process

Please dress clean and professional

· Lunch Schedule: Students will eat an early lunch at CHS from 11:10–11:50 a.m. before departing

o If bringing lunch from home, please send a disposable sack lunch if possible.

· Standard school cell phone policies apply (no phones permitted at the Expo)
