Attendance Trends 👈
The importance of Daily Attendance cannot be overstated.
- Our trend data shows that we are going in the right direction.
- We still have a ways to go with 23% of students chronically absent in 2024-25.
- The students that were chronically absent in 2024-25, failed 69 classes.
- ANY* absence - excused or unexcused counts toward absenteeism. *School Sponsored events are the only exception
- Be definition - Chronically absent is missing 10% or more of school. (That means missing <2 days per month, or 17 total days, over the course of the school year.)
2024-25 Yearbooks are in! Students should pick them up from Mrs. House.
💛 Wear ⭐YELLOW 🟡 on Sept. 10 for Suicide Prevention Day🌼

🛑 FastBridge Reading & Math
GCCSD is transitioning to FastBridge as our assessment tool (previously MAP).
- Only 9th and 10th graders will assess. Wed. 10th (Reading) and Thurs. 11th (Math)
- No alternative schedule - it will be done during their regular English and Math classes
- 💻Send your student with their Chromebook fully CHARGED 🔌
- If your child has 🎧corded headphones🎧, please send them to school!
- Encourage them to TRY! 🧠All we ask is for them to DO THEIR BEST! ⭐ This gives us a glimpse of each student's math and reading levels.
