The AI Dashboard serves as the district's centralized resource hub designed to help educators, students, and parents navigate artificial intelligence safely and effectively. This site's primary focus is outlining the district's generative AI guidelines and policies, emphasizing ethical use, academic integrity, and strict adherence to student data privacy laws like FERPA and COPPA. It provides clear expectations on keeping personally identifiable information out of AI tools while establishing transparent boundaries for student coursework and citation standards.

This is a practical instructional toolkit to streamline day-to-day teaching tasks. You can access curated prompt engineering strategies, lesson planning frameworks, and rubrics to adjust reading levels, differentiate instruction, and generate classroom assessments efficiently.

The Dashboard identifies district-approved AI platforms. Additionally, the dashboard includes dedicated resources for student digital citizenship and parent communication, giving you ready-made materials to facilitate conversations about responsible technology use both in the classroom and at home.

Feel free to use this statement on Canvas Courses, in Google Classroom, and/or in a Class Syllabus

"The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in assignments, papers, projects, and exams is prohibited unless explicitly permitted by the instructor. Students must ensure their work is original and should consult the instructor if unsure about tool usage."

Make sure to check the AI Dashboard for guidance on AI Dectors based on district guidance.

Google Docs offers native audio capabilities for both speech-to-text and audio playback that enhance classroom accessibility and productivity. Using the built-in Voice Typing feature under Tools > Voice typing (or pressing Ctrl + Shift + S), teachers and students can dictate text and speak formatting commands directly into a document in over 100 languages.

For listening and accessibility, users with Gemini access can navigate to Tools > Audio to hear text read aloud, generate document audio summaries, or type @ to insert clickable "Listen to tab" audio chips directly into pages. Together, these tools allow educators to transcribe spoken ideas hands-free, convert documents into audio files for on-the-go listening, and create self-reading learning materials for diverse learners.

Are you getting a new cell phone? If so, it is critical to properly transfer your Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) settings to ensure uninterrupted access to corporate systems. Here are the essential steps and best practices to include in your newsletter section:

Key Steps: Ensuring MFA Carries Over to a New Phone

Prepare Before Switching Phones: Whenever possible, set up MFA on your new phone while you still have access to your old device. This greatly simplifies the transfer process.
Use Authenticator App Backup and Recovery:
- For Microsoft Authenticator, enable cloud backup (on Android) or iCloud backup (on iPhone) within the app on your old phone. On your new device, install the Microsoft Authenticator app, sign in to your backup account, and restore your accounts.
- For Google Authenticator, use the transfer feature inside the app ("Transfer accounts" or "Export accounts") to export your MFA accounts from your old device and import them into the new one. For accounts linked to your Google account, syncing may simplify this process.

Tips and Best Practices:

Never wipe your old phone or trade it in until MFA is active on your new device.
Proactively document and maintain your backup authentication methods and codes.
Test MFA on your new phone before removing your old device from your account settings.

This is a free educational hub created by edtech specialist Eric Curts that provides a curated directory of pre-made, customized Google Gemini AI prompts designed specifically for K–12 educators. Instead of requiring teachers to master complex prompt engineering, the platform offers a searchable library of ready-to-launch AI teaching assistants across lesson planning, student activities, assessment design, administrative tasks, and differentiation strategies. When selected, these tools open directly in Google Gemini to guide teachers through co-designing classroom materials, converting time-consuming tasks like drafting sub plans, modifying reading passages, or building rubrics into fast, conversational interactions. Ultimately, EduGems saves teachers significant prep time while helping them deliver personalized, pedagogically sound, and accessible instruction without a steep technology learning curve.

The Google AI Educator Series is a free, flexible professional development program created by Google and ISTE+ASCD to help K–12 and higher education staff integrate artificial intelligence into their daily practice. Designed for busy schedules, it uses a "snackable and stackable" micro-learning model featuring bite-sized, 10-to-15-minute non-sequential sessions that cover foundational AI skills, practical lesson design, differentiation, and administrative workflow automation using tools like Google Gemini and NotebookLM. You can complete individual modules to earn stackable digital badges. By focusing on immediate, classroom-ready applications aligned with recognized standards rather than heavy theory, the series helps educators quickly gain practical AI confidence and save valuable time.
