Channels are the "building blocks" of recipes. The majority of channels can be both "triggers" and "actions." There are 92 different channels, from news feeds to subscription services to the "internet of things."

When you combine a "trigger" (this) with an "action" (that), you have created a recipe! A lot of times there are action fields associated with the trigger or action that allows you to customize that content that is shared. All recipes can be turned on and off if you don't want them to run.

Once you create a recipe, you can share with others. You can browse other users' shared recipes to get ideas.

Like a recipe but don't want it to run? You can favorite a recipe to save it for later.
