Wessagusset Elementary School

Winter may be on the way, but it is so nice to see the sun shining after yesterday’s wild weather! We had a great week at Wessagusset, and are so proud of the fantastic teaching and learning we see during our classroom visits each day. Here is some helpful information for the busy, festive month ahead:

• The Winter Concert is almost here! Grades 3, 4, and 5 will perform on Wednesday, December 7th at 10:00 am in the Cafeteria. Guests may enter through the cafeteria door starting at 9:45 am. Students are encouraged to wear black if possible. We hope to see you there!

• Term 1 report cards will be available in Aspen on Friday, December 23rd. Please note that this is for Grades 1-5 only. Kindergarten report cards will be sent home in mid-January. Information for accessing Report Cards through Aspen Family Portal will be shared in the coming weeks.

• As we welcome in winter, please remember to dress your child(ren) warm and in layers. We will be going outside for recess and staying warm makes for a much more comfortable experience!

• Staff spotlight: Thank you to Mrs. Sarah Machado-Deady! We are so appreciative of the excellent support she provides to students, staff, and families. She is a valued member of the Wessagusset team!

Enjoy your evening!

Sincerely,
