It has been a spirited week as we have celebrated Red Ribbon Week. It is incredible that we are now at the end of October, and that means you are invited to our monthly Community Circle. Thank you to all of our families who have contributed to the Fuss Free Fundraiser. It is not too late to make a donation.

I was prepared for the water balloon challenge. Unfortunately, we did not meet the goal. So, we will try again in the Spring.

Did you know that our students will visit the Yellow River Game Ranch, Atlanta History Center or Fernbank on Field trips this year? One field trip can cost up to $900 for admission. All students have planted in the garden during the lessons from our partnership with From the Ground Up. Those are just a few of the things possible because of PTA support.

We have many things happening over the next several weeks. Don't forget to mark your calendars for these upcoming Westchester events:

  • November 3rd: Election Day - Remote Digital Learning Day

    • You should receive a Choice board of activities for your child to complete.

  • November 10th: School Board meeting

  • November 12th: Holiday Lunch

    • Reservations must be made by November 3rd

  • November 16th-21st- Dine Out: The Dinner Shoppe
  • November 20th: Community Circle - All invited

  • November 23rd - 27th: Thanksgiving Break

From your very grateful principal,

Christine Knox

November 1st: FALL BACK Daylight Saving Time. 🕐 November 1st: FALL BACK Daylight Saving Time. 🕐

Be sure to plan for adjusting your clocks.
