Knights News

Friday, May 29th, will be the last day of school for the 25/26 School Year! School will be dismissed at 1:30!

School resumes for the 2026-2027 school year on Monday, August 24th, 2026!

The Unity Knight Award was started in 2013 by Dr. Mike Rogers. It is something that we, here at Unity, have chosen to continue over the last 13 years.

The Knight Award is an honor that is only bestowed upon those who truly exhibit what it means to be a Unity Knight. The previous recipients have all exemplified our Team U traits. They have not only been good students, showing excellence in their academics, but they have also been amazing humans; treating others the way they want to be treated, putting others first, and doing their best to make a difference in our Unity Community.

Please join us in congratulating our newest recipients: Kinslee Berg, Stenel Mavinga, and Mikaya Wacheldorf

Mr. Chapman, Unity's Attendance Specialist, would like to Congratulate these 3 students for their Perfect Attendance this school year! There were 180 School Days this year, and these 3 students were in attendance EVERY SINGLE DAY! Their commitment to being present and ready to learn each day demonstrates responsibility, dedication, and perseverance. By making school a priority, they have set a positive example for their peers.

We congratulate them on this outstanding achievement and commend their hard work and consistency. These students were rewarded with a certificate and a gift basket loaded with lots of goodies!

Congratulations to: Truleigh Hathaway, Kivana Tokoisky, and Siena Bisrat

The following students were nominated by their teachers as a Unity Kid of Character for the 25-26 School Year. These students consistently demonstrate the values of Character Strong through their actions and choices. They show kindness, respect, responsibility, and empathy toward others every day. Their positive attitude and leadership make a difference in our school community. We are proud to recognize them for being outstanding role models.

In May, we focused on Creativity. Creativity is using your imagination to create something new or solve a problem.

Congratulations to the following students for showing creativity at Unity!

TK and Kindergarten: Dutch Sullivan, Lanae Plummer, Dibora Hadush (Not pictured: Neytiri Cox and Ciasia Lucas)

We are very fortunate to have these two as a part of Team Unity!!

We want to extend a huge THANK YOU to these amazing 5th grade students who have all served on our Student Council at some point this school year! They are awesome individuals and such a great addition to Unity! They will be greatly missed, but we know they will continue to succeed in middle school!

School will dismiss at 1:30 on Fridays again this school year! Please be aware and make sure appropriate transportation has been arranged for your students. If your students take the bus, they will arrive at their bus stop 2 hours earlier than their normal time on Fridays

If your student has any medications at school, please be sure to stop by and pick them up before the end of the day on Friday, or call the office and have us send them home with your students.
