Eyad is an adaptable and dedicated student who consistently strives to do his best both in and out of the classroom. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball and gaming online with friends, which allows him to stay active while also connecting with others. Eyad has set a strong short-term goal of earning straight A’s this year, and his long-term goal is to attend a good college, reflecting his commitment to his future. He is currently reading The Giver, showing his engagement with thoughtful and challenging literature. Math is Eyad’s favorite subject because he excels in it, and he credits Mr. Noll as a teacher who inspires him by making math fun and easy to understand. Eyad’s positive attitude and dedication make him a deserving Student of the Month.

Mia is a hard-working and understanding student who brings focus and determination to everything she does. In her free time, she enjoys playing soccer, listening to music, and drawing, which allow her to express herself both creatively and athletically. For her short-term goal, Mia is working on limiting the amount of time she spends on her phone, demonstrating strong self-awareness and responsibility. Her long-term goal is to become more mentally focused and confident in soccer, reflecting her dedication to personal growth. She is currently reading My Life with Walter and the Boys, showing her interest in engaging literature. Math is Mia’s favorite subject because she finds it interesting and fully understands the lessons. She is inspired by Ms. Emerich, who has shown her that no matter how challenging things become, understanding and mental focus can lead to success, and who has helped her feel more comfortable asking for help in her classes.
