A Message From Mrs. Lucas, BHS Principal
Hello Bobcats Families!
We are wrapping up a great school year and looking forward to a strong finish before summer begins next Friday. Today’s message includes reminders about updating ParentVUE/StudentVUE and EZ Bus Tracking, along with final exam information.
Update ParentVUE/StudentVUE and EZ Bus Tracking
As a reminder, the current versions of ParentVUE, StudentVUE, and the EZ A2B bus tracking app will stop working after June 30.
To ensure uninterrupted access to grades, attendance, and transportation information, families are encouraged to download the new versions now.
Download the new ParentVUE app.
Download the new StudentVUE app.
Final Exam Reminders
Final exams begin Tuesday, June 9, which is also the last full day of school. Please refer to the exam schedule below for details. If a student is exempt from an exam but remains at school for transportation, they should still report to class but will not take the exam. For example, a student taking a 2nd period exam but exempt from 4th period should still report to 4th period class.
Thank you for being a partner with our school to support student success.
Enjoy the weekend!
Principal Lucas

Is your student eligible to skip a final exam?
Students may be exempt from a final exam if they meet one of the following criteria:
Earn an A in the course prior to the final exam*
Pass the SOL or IDM associated with the course
Please note: Dual Enrollment (DE) courses may not offer exam exemptions.
To check your student’s grades, log in to ParentVUE and select “Gradebook.” (Need help? Visit the What is ParentVUE page.)
*If a student’s grade drops below an A before the exam, they are no longer exempt and must take the final. Missing a required exam will result in a 0% (F). Final exams count for 10% of the course grade.
📝 What Happens If a Student Is Exempt?
Teachers will mark the student as EE (Exam Exempt) on the day of the exam.
There is no need to contact the Attendance Office.
📅 Attendance Expectations
During Exam Week
If an exempt student attends school:
- They must report to their assigned class.
- Students may not remain in hallways or leave campus.
First Day of Exam Week:
This is a full school day.
Students must attend their last period class, even if exempt from exams that day.
➡️ If you would like to excuse your student from the last period, email: BFHS-Attendance@pwcs.edu
➡️ Students not excused will be marked absent.
⏰ Important Reminders
Early Exams: Final exams cannot be taken early except in special circumstances (such as moving out of state) with prior administrative approval.
