🎉 TEAM Read & United Indians of All Tribes Foundation Partnership Announcement
We are thrilled to announce a new collaboration between TEAM Read, the United Indians of All Tribes Foundation, and Concord Elementary to provide afterschool literacy support for our Indigenous students!
Starting in November and running through May 5, the program will take place Mondays and Tuesdays from 4:30-5:30 p.m. at Concord Elementary. We are especially proud that TEAM Read has prioritized the recruitment of Native high school students to serve as mentors and tutors for our Native youth.
We are also grateful to Sohee Kim, who has graciously agreed to serve as the Lead Site Coordinator for this initiative.
Together, we are committed to fostering a culturally affirming and academically enriching environment for our students.

Community members will create whimsical backgrounds with crayons, liquid watercolors and salt, using a technique called wax resist.
