SEPTEMBER 8th

What an Amazing Start to the 2024-2025 School Year!
We're still buzzing with excitement from the incredible kick-off! 🎉 Our success so far is thanks to the fantastic teamwork of our entire Audubon Eagle Community! 🦅 A huge shoutout to all our families for getting your little Eagles ready and pumped for the new year. We know getting back into the school routine can be tough, but you've done an amazing job supporting them, and it shows in the engagement at school.

We’re now soaring full speed ahead—wrapping up our beginning-of-the-year assessments, diving into new content, launching clubs, and learning what it truly means to be an Audubon Eagle!

September is jam-packed with exciting events like our Discount Card Fundraiser, Grandparents Breakfast, the Book Fair, and Eagle Family Night! There’s so much fun to come, and we’re thrilled to have you along for the journey.

Check out the highlights and important info below to stay in the loop!

All out spirit day

This year, we have read The Energy Bus for Kids to all students. Classrooms have already conquered Rule #1: Create a Positive Vision. Each class created a vision statement to post inside their classroom and outside in the hall for all to see.

This week, in the Monday Morning Assembly, Mrs. Velotta will be focusing on Rule #2: Fuel Your Ride with Positive Energy. Ask your child about this at home and see if Rule #2 carries over to life outside of school.

If you'd like to know more about The Energy Bus for Kids click on the link below for a YouTube read Aloud.

Monday, September 9th is the LAST day scheduled to turn in your discount cards! We’ve got a big goal of selling 2,000 cards to help fund our grade-level field trips and school-wide celebrations, and we know we can do it! 🎉 So far, we’ve sold 593 cards—let’s kick it into high gear and cross the finish line strong! 💪✨ Every card makes a difference, so keep spreading the word and let's make it happen, Eagles!
