Dear Alta Mesa Families,

Conference week is one of the more important weeks of the school year. It is a time where teachers and parents partner through communication to help our students. Staying informed on how your child is doing in school is critical to their success. This week teachers are available after and before school to meet with parents to go over report cards, give social/emotional updates, and inform you of all the other important factors impacting your child's education. If you have not done so yet, please contact your child's teacher to schedule a conference.

Due to conferences this week we will be on a minimum day schedule each day with all students being released at 1:20. While you're on campus for conferences make sure to swing by our "lost and found" area near the office. Due to the weather cooling down we have a large collection of sweatshirts building up.

Finally, I just want to remind parents that next week is Thanksgiving Break and there will be no school from 11/20-11/24. Have a wonderful time with your families!!

Your 5th grade students want to show their appreciation for all you do for them. Please join us on Thursday, Nov 16th in the cafeteria from 5:00-6:30 for a free pasta dinner!
