A Message from Dr. Stabler
Dear AHE Families,
We are thrilled to share that Abbotts Hill Elementary was recognized by the Georgia Department of Education as a 2023-2024 Literacy Leader school for the our Third Grade growth last year. Fulton County schools has 26 schools being recognized. We are so proud of our Jaguars!
Also, Abbotts Hill was recognized as a 2023-2024 PBIS Distinguished school. PBIS stands for Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports. Our students do a fabulous job of displaying their R3 (Respectful, Responsible, and Ready to Learn) behavior!
Finally, the annual parent perception survey closes on November 22nd. The survey is anonymous and confidential.
Currently we are are 18%. Please take 5-10 minutes to complete the survey so that we can increase our participation rate to at least 50%.
This survey allows parents the opportunity to tell us what they think about their student’s schools and the district. While we always make it a priority to listen to our parents, this survey affords us another opportunity to receive your thoughts and opinions.
To access the parent survey, click https://www.fultonschools.org/AnnualParentSurvey or scan the QR code with a smartphone. Thank you in advance for making your voice heard!

If you were unable to attend the Parent University workshop, Helping Your Child Cope with Anxiety, the video is posted on the school website.
November’s Parent University focus will be on activities to Showcase Your Child’s Creative Side. Our talented teachers Mr. Carr and Ms. Upchurch will create videos for you to watch at home at your convenience. Mr. Carr will demonstrate adventurous virtual field trips your child can take. He will also give suggestions of places around the Johns Creek area where the students can go to develop their arts and crafts side. Ms. Upchurch's presentation will be how to use SCAMPER to foster learning outside the box. You will be able to access the videos by the next Hilltop Happening.
