Annual Harvest Dinner Information

The Harvest Dinner is next week! Please join us on Thursday, Oct. 8 for a school community dinner in the gym from 5 pm to 6:30 pm. This is a very heartwarming evening for our school, as it gives us all a chance to come together to share a meal and support our PTO.

The Harvest Dinner is the biggest fundraiser of the year for our PTO, who has been hard at work getting ready for the event. Please check your email to see what your class raffle basket theme is and bring in an item to donate for the basket, if you are able. We will also have a silent auction with lots of fantastic items at the event!

If you haven't already, please sign up below to bring a dish to share for the dinner. Please be sure to label the dish wtih your name so we can be sure to get it back to you!

Our students will also be making food with their classes for the event!

We hope to see you there!!

⚠️ The Warren School Needs Substitutes.....

The dynamic programming here at our school requires substitutes, whether it's helping Yuko in the kitchen or supporting students' days in a classroom. Subbing in our school is a perfect way to support our school and have the same work schedule as your own students,

Interested ? Contact Heidi or SamK for more info !

Volunteer Needed for Graduate Course Project from staff memeber Allyson Biondo

Hello!

I am a graduate student currently enrolled in VTSU's clinical and mental health

counseling program. One of the requirements for my Family Counseling course is to

conduct an in person interview with a family I do not know, preferably with 2 to 3

generations present for the interview. I am looking for a family to volunteer a half hour

of their time with me. The interview would focus around questions of what makes for a

healthy and functional family as well as how both individual and family needs are met. It

is mostly an exercise for me in exploring my own level of comfortability in sitting with a

family I do not know, observing the process, and challenging/solidifying my own family

values.

Please respond directly or email me if you are able/willing to volunteer your time (and

your family;-)!

with gratitude,

Allyson Biondo
