October Playgroup Fun
The smile says it all! Continuing with our animals and pets conversation, our friend L is using various tools to give the animals a bath.
Playing in water automatically makes learning more fun! Our friend R showed us how he filled the cup with water, then added an animal and the water spilled out. In a few years he will make a very important connection in his STEM learning, but for now it is just fun exploring!
Sitting up unassisted was a milestone but now M is coordinating balancing and moving as she reaches for a moving ball from a seated position. It's a baby workout!
October Family Engagement Fun
We went to JZ Farms and our Judy Center kids were easy to spot in the crowd! Our largest field trip to date, 29 adults and 44 kids!
Our FES Falcon Family joined together for STEM night. What does STEM stand for? Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. We had a 0-5 Judy Center space set up for our family to explore hands on STEM activities.
The Maryland Science Center brought STEM activities for PreK through 5th grade. Everyone had fun moving between stations and taking part in experiments.
