A Note from the Principal
Dear Families:
As we close out this week, I want to take a moment to wish our seniors all the best in their next chapter. It has been an absolute pleasure spending these last few weeks with you—whether preparing for graduation or celebrating at your many events, your energy, humor, and spirit will be missed.
Our girls’ softball team faced a heartbreaking loss on Tuesday night, but the camaraderie they displayed and the outpouring of community support are powerful reminders of what a tremendous season they had. The girls' lacrosse team celebrated a strong win on Tuesday and will advance to face Ipswich on Saturday. We’re still awaiting results from the boys’ lacrosse game and cheering them on from the sidelines.
On Thursday, our 8th grade students shone brightly as they welcomed the community to view their Civics Action Projects. These future leaders tackled topics such as the environment, mental health, and the impact of social media with thoughtfulness and passion—it was truly impressive.
As we send off our seniors, it’s time to turn the spotlight on our 8th graders. Upcoming celebrations for them include Field Day, the Canobie Lake trip, and their end-of-year celebration dance. We look forward to honoring all they’ve accomplished and the bright future ahead.
Wishing everyone a great week,
Brenda Erhardt
Pentucket MHS Principal

Read, Relax, Repeat...PRMHS Summer Reading List 2025
The PRMHS English Department encourages all students to read at least one book this summer. Summer reading encourages independent learning, active reading, and critical thinking. It also helps students maintain the progress they have made as readers and writers during the academic year. Please click here to access the recommended titles by PRMHS teachers, but feel free to read any book. Your local library has many of these books available.

Statewide Graduation Council Stakeholder Engagement Survey
The Statewide Graduation Council Stakeholder Engagement Survey is now live on the Executive Office of Education website, mass.gov/k12gradcouncil.
Students, parents and caregivers, educators, school counselors, businesses and community residents may complete the survey by June 30, 2025. The Graduation Council will use the information from the public survey and listening sessions to draft recommendations that can ensure all Massachusetts students graduate with necessary skills to succeed in college, careers and civic life, regardless of their background or location, and demonstrate they meet a consistent statewide set of expectations.

GENEROSITY at it's finest - FREE ICE CREAM!
I’m excited to share that, thanks to the generosity of Cindy Adams, owner of Long Hill Farm, I’ll be hosting an Ice Cream Social at the farm on Monday, June 16th from 1:30 to 3:30 PM. We're celebrating the start of summer by handing out free ice cream to all Pentucket Regional students!
Teachers and staff are warmly invited to join us and enjoy a free ice cream as well—it’s a small way to say thank you for all you do!
Looking forward to kicking off summer with some sweet treats and even sweeter company!
Warmly,
Alissa Phelan
