As we close out the 2025-2026 school year, I want to take a moment to simply say thank you.
This year was a special one in the history of Gahanna Lincoln High School. Together, we opened a new chapter in a brand new building while continuing to build and strengthen what makes GLHS such a special place: our people, our culture, and our commitment to One PRIDE. One FAMILY.
Transitions like this are never easy, but our students, staff, and families handled this year with flexibility, patience, resilience, and pride. We learned together, adjusted together, celebrated together, and continued to grow together. Throughout it all, what stood out most was the way our school community continued to show up for one another every single day.
To our students: Thank you for the energy, spirit, and heart you brought into this building. Whether in classrooms, on stages, on athletic fields, in performances, competitions, clubs, or simply in the hallways supporting one another, you helped bring this building to life. I am incredibly proud of the way you represented GLHS this year.
To our families: Thank you for your partnership, encouragement, and support throughout this exciting and unique year. Your trust and involvement make an incredible difference in the success of our students and our school community.
As we head into summer, I hope everyone finds time to rest, recharge, and enjoy moments with family and friends. Take time to slow down, reflect on all that was accomplished this year, and enjoy the well-deserved break ahead.
We are already excited for what’s ahead and cannot wait to welcome our Lions back in the fall for another great year together. Have a safe, relaxing, and memorable summer.
