Join us on March 29th for the Food Revue!

🍽️🥗The Food Revue combines food preparation, menu planning, and table setting skills. 4-H members and Cloverbuds participating in the Food Revue need to plan a menu suitable for an indoor or outdoor meal. The exhibitor will prepare and display one food item from the menu; select a table service and centerpiece; develop a menu card and recipe card; and set this on a table or picnic blanket. More Information can be found in the Food Revue banner below.🍛

Objective of the Show:

  • To provide the member an experience in planning, preparing and serving foods as part of a meal or snack.
  • To give the member an opportunity for self-expression both verbally and visually.
  • To provide members an opportunity to show what they have learned.

Helping Hands Awards applications

Do you have an idea you’re passionate about but need help getting started? The 2025 Helping Hands Award is for 4-H youth who want to turn their ideas into projects! This award funds project ideas that are led by 4-H youth in partnership with supportive adults, local businesses, and non-profit organizations. Past awards have ranged from $300 to $2000.

Projects can focus on STEM, agriscience, healthy living, outdoor adventures, equity, and leadership. But don't hold back if your idea falls outside of these categories. Think about what sparks your interest and apply!

Here’s a project by the We Dig Bugs Entomology Club in Carver County that was selected in 2023.

Click here for information on program requirements, a list of 2024 projects, and how to apply. The 2025 application will be linked on this page and available to complete on December 13th. It must be filled out and submitted online. The application will close on February 14 at 11:59pm

If you have questions, please contact Matthew Keefe (Extension Development, Minnesota 4-H) at keefe175@umn.edu or 612-626-4170.
