We Are Wolves!

Principal's Message from Mrs. Neff-Rupp

Hello, Wolves!

Welcome to October. This year is moving right along. I am thankful for our wonderful students, teachers, staff, parents, and PTA that have contributed to making this year amazing! CSP is an amazing school, but the building is nothing without the people in it. I appreciate everyone that is working alongside us to help our students be successful in school.

Next week, we have our Semana De Los Lobos as our Homecoming Week. We have a fun pep rally that really exemplifies the spirit of being a Wolf. And the week will end with our dance.

We have started the 2nd 6 weeks. I encourage everyone to know your child's grades. Review their report cards and communicate with their teachers. Teachers have tutorials every week. Make sure your child is getting the help and support they need. Remember attendance is important every single day. Please make your our Wolves are here at 8:50 am every day. If they are out, please turn in an excuse in the front office with Ms. Lopez.

We will be inviting students to tutorials during Intercession on Oct. 13, 14, 15, & 16. You will receive a phone call and a letter will be sent home with your student. This is a great time for our students to get small group instruction on content they have not mastered yet and take care of their HB 1416 hours. Breakfast will be served each day. Intercession will be from 9:00 am-12:00 each day.

Thank-you for your continued support!

Wolf Pack Reads

This October, Wolf Pack Reads is celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month by showcasing powerful stories written by Hispanic authors.

We are also celebrating Fall with our October theme- “Carve Out Some Time for Reading” — join us in celebrating the fall season in the library with books that inspire, connect, and celebrate the new season.

This Month’s Wolfpack Reads Question: What is the most likely reason the author wrote this text? Support your answer with evidence from the story. Objective: Students will explore the author’s intent behind the text, sharpening their analytical skills in understanding purpose.

Non-Fiction Question: Based on the information in the book, what can the reader infer about the topic? Support your answer with evidence from the text.

We encourage all students to read at home and complete the Wolfpack Reads graphic organizer. Participating helps students build stronger reading comprehension, critical thinking, and writing skills while developing a lifelong love of reading. Plus students receive great incentives for participating!

Reminder for Guardians: If you have not yet purchased Chromebook insurance, we strongly encourage you to do so. The cost is just $15 and covers damages, ensuring your child can receive a replacement Chromebook if needed. For more information, please contact the library or front office. Let’s make October a month full of learning, celebrating culture, and carving out time for great books
