Lutherville Lab Report
What's gone down & what's coming up at the leopards' lair.
January 28, 2022
It was wonderful to have the students for five full days this week. After many interruptions and just an unusual month, it was good to close out that way.
As we move into the second half of the year, we're ready to kick the learning into high gear! This week our staff meetings before and after school focused on how we can better serve all of our students and meet our school progress goals. They were important and energizing conversations. In grade level meetings we spent a lot of energy planning for an increased emphasis on building foundational math fact fluency and how we can come together as a school and community in supporting our students efforts there. More to come on that front, but we're excited about what's ahead!

Kids Heart Challenge
It’s time for the American Heart Association’s Kids Heart Challenge! Our students are raising donations for the health of all hearts and the American Heart Association. Students participating will join our “Kids Heart Challenge” special event during the school day in February and get moving with fun activities, learn about keeping their hearts and brains healthy and feel great about helping others. Not only will you be helping fight heart disease and stroke (the No. 1 and No. 2 killers worldwide), but participants can earn fun thank you gifts. We appreciate all your help and please see the attached flyers for more information.
