"As part of our LEARN Day at Oasis Academy Enfield, our Year 7 students had the exciting opportunity of visiting a place of worship. They had an insightful day learning about how and why community is important to us as humans and members of faith. As a school, we are very proud to enrich our young people’s lives through core trips and visits. The visit gave our students a real idea of how core religious values are lived out through places of worship and their interactions with the community.
Student’s comments: “the mosque was so beautiful, Sir”, “I learnt so much about the religious community” and “I learnt that community is important for us to feel a place of belonging”.
Students were greeted and welcomed as esteemed guests, they received a guided tour, educational talk and were able to ask questions. It was thrilling to see our students so engaged and learning about others way of life."

Remembrance Day
Today, at OAE we paid our respects to the men and women who have lost their lives serving in the two world wars and other conflicts around the world. We began our commemoration by laying a wreath and marking the occasion with a two minute silence. All students from Y7-13 took part.
Curriculum Insight
Personal Development at OAE
At Oasis Academy Enfield, our Personal Development curriculum is truly inspiring!
At Oasis Academy Enfield, we nurture students into confident, well-rounded individuals who actively contribute to their communities. Our Personal Development Curriculum, aligned with the Oasis Ethos, 9 Habits, and Character Curriculum, ensures students thrive in a supportive environment. We meet all statutory requirements for RSE, Citizenship, and Careers Education, while tailoring our programs to address local needs. Students grow socially, emotionally, and culturally, gaining self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and the skills to reach their full potential. With a strong sense of identity, they become articulate, informed citizens who engage in meaningful discussions and embrace British Values. Through our connection with Oasis Hubs, students learn to celebrate diversity, challenge discrimination, and contribute to a fair, inclusive society.

School Policies - Our Expectations and Standards
1. Uniform
As the cold weather comes upon us, we expect students to be wearing a coat to and from school, and when making the most of the fresh air at break and lunch-time. The Academy policy is that coats must be plain navy blue or black. All other colours and excessive branding are not permitted. Students are expected to remove all outdoor clothing once inside the building.
2. Community Expectations
At OAE we embody our expectations in everything we do. We do this through our behaviours and attitudes, modelling to the young people at OAE and expecting to see the same high standards from them.
Attendance
The Academy attendance target is 96%. We are currently at 92.3%. Your support in ensuring that you child attends school everyday is essential in securing success for them. Every day missed, means that opportunities to learn are missed and the chance of success is reduced.

Anti-Bullying Week - 11th-15th November
Choose Respect is the theme of anti-bullying week 2024.

Sports Club Successes
On Tuesday, October 8th, 2024, our newly formed Year 7 boys’ football team proudly donned the Oasis Academy Enfield football strip and laced up their boots for their debut home match against Bishop's Stortford Secondary School. The game took place on our 4G astro-turf pitch, set up for a 9-a-side fixture. The atmosphere was electric, with the boys fully prepared and eager to take on the challenge.
In an impressive display of skill and teamwork, Oasis Academy Enfield secured a commanding victory with a final score of 11-4. Our goal scorers included Nicodene and Amani, each netting two goals, Joel leading the charge with four, Eric contributing one, and Ayman rounding off the score with two goals.
Overall, it was a fantastic start to the season, and we look forward to many more exciting sporting opportunities in the academic year ahead.

Our Ethos at Oasis Academy Enfield
Our ethos is rooted in what we believe and who we are. Grounded in our story, it is an expression of our character; a set of values that inform and provide the lens on everything we do.
- A passion to include
- A desire to treat people equally respecting differences
- A commitment to healthy, open relationships
- A deep sense of hope that things can change and be transformed
- A sense of perseverance to keep going for the long haul
It is these ethos values that we want to be known for and to live by. We are committed to a model of inclusion, equality, healthy relationships, hope, and perseverance throughout all the aspects of the life and culture of every Oasis Hub and academy community.
We encourage every member of our family, be that staff or student, to align themselves to these ethos values. The values themselves are inspired by the life, message and example of Jesus but we make it clear that we will not impose on anyone, the beliefs that underpin our ethos values. We recognise and celebrate the richness that spiritual and cultural diversity brings to our community, respecting the beliefs and practices of other faiths in the hope that we will provide a welcoming environment for all.
