Dear Timberwolf Families,

What a busy Fall this has been! We are so proud of all the academic, leadership and extra-curricular achievements of our students. They are an incredible group of students. We wrapped up our Fall celebrations with the December Success Assembly last Friday. Congratulations to Victoria, Walter, Yuna and Russell as they were nominated for the Timbewolf in the Spotlight Award this month. They have all made significant gains in the classroom and are working on tackling hard things. We are very proud of them!

We are pleased to report that the second annual Welcome Winter Evening was a huge success last Wednesday. It was wonderful to see so many families out enjoying the evening together. The students and staff worked really hard to create the beautiful doors for everyone to enjoy. Results of the voting are below. Thank you to the School Council for supporting this lovely community event.

The Snowflake Award: Mrs. Phippen's Grade 6 (Door 10) and Mr. Broome's 4/5 classes (Door 12)

The Snow Much Fun Award: Mr. Lund's 4/5 class (Door 2)

Timberwolves Choice Award Runner Up: Mr. Keeler's 7/8 class (Door 13)

The Grand Champions were...

Timberwolves Choice Award: Mrs. Cameron and Ms. St. John's Kindergarten Class (Door 4)

The TruedELF shop opens tomorrow. Thank you to all of the families that donated to this event. All items are being sold for $1 or $2. Please remember to send money if you would like your child to shop at the student run store. Special thanks to the parents who have volunteered to assist with wrapping on Tuesday. It is going to be a busy day at Truedell!

We look forward to seeing all of you in January 2025. We wish you a wonderful holiday and a Happy New Year from the entire Staff at Truedell Public School!

As always, please reach out to us if you have questions or need support.

Take care,

K. Esford, Principal
