We will be rewarding students who have Perfect Attendance each month. In order to be eligible, students must be in school every day and not have a single tardy for that month. Tracking for Perfect Attendance will start over at the beginning of each month, making EVERY student eligible every month. School activities do NOT count against the student, however doctor appointments and any other absence will. The SWMS PTSA will be giving 1 student from each grade a $5 concession stand coupon that will be redeemed immediately, and then 5 additional students from each grade will receive a gift certificate from various local businesses, and finally all students with perfect attendance will be given popcorn during their lunch.
For the month of September we had 97 students in grades 5 - 8 earn Perfect Attendance

Safety
Absolutely no medication on your person, over the counter or otherwise. All medication must be given through the nurse's office.
Backpacks are to be left in your lockers. Our classrooms are very small and backpacks clutter the aisle. It is a safety thing. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
