Peer Screening Clinic for the 2025-26 school year will be Friday, March 7th. If you have a student that will be 3 or 4 years old before August 31, 2025 and would like to be a peer role model at McDanield Preschool, we will have a screening clinic on March 7, 2025, 9am-11:15am, call 913-422-7970 to make an appointment.

At home: Practice 10-20 minutes a day

-Identifying the letters, numbers, shapes, and colors of the week

-Prepositions (under, over, beside, front, behind, between, next to)

-Matching

-Count to 20

-Identify greater and less than

-Find your name and identify the letters in it

When we teach cutting, we always teach "Thumbs up to cut" and "Keep the scissors straight ahead, turn the paper round instead" to help students remember how to cut on a curved line. Here is a fun song to help them remember.
