Strengthening Our School Community
Meet Our New School Resource Officer, Officer Sheehan!
We're excited to welcome Officer Ryan Sheehan as our new School Resource Officer! Officer Sheehan will be visiting schools across Glendale Heights, while Officer McGuire continues to serve proudly at Winnebago Elementary.
In his own words:
"I've been a police officer with the Glendale Heights Police Department for 20 years, and for the last six years I've served as the School Resource Officer for Queen Bee District 16. Getting to know students, staff, and families has been the best part of my job. I also love spending time with Benjamin, our Comfort Dog, and watching him bring smiles to our community.
I'm so excited to join Marquardt School District 15! I can't wait to meet everyone and start building new friendships.
Outside of work, I enjoy boxing, golfing, fishing, and traveling with my wife. We love exploring new places, going on hikes, and relaxing at the beach together."
