NEW STUDENT & FRESHMAN OPEN HOUSE

Sturgis Brown High School invites all freshmen and new students to attend Freshman & New Student Orientation. This is a great opportunity for students and families to meet teachers, receive class schedules and other important information, and tour the campus before the school year begins.

Date: Tuesday, August 25, 2026
Orientation Time: 5:00–7:00 PM
Mandatory Informational Presentation: 6:00 PM in the West Gym

All freshmen and new students attending the open house are required to attend the informational presentation. We look forward to welcoming our newest Scoopers and helping everyone start the school year informed, prepared, and ready for success!

FIRST DAY SCHOOL SCHEDULE

Welcome back! On the first day of school, Scooper Time will serve as our first period. During Scooper Time, students will complete important first-day activities, including computer setup and school pictures. Please follow the adjusted class schedule below:

Scooper Time: 8:05–10:00 a.m. — Computer setup and school pictures
Period 1: 10:05–10:50 a.m.
Period 2: 10:55–11:45 a.m.
Period 4: 11:50 a.m.–1:25 p.m. — Lunch will take place during this period according to each student's assigned lunch group.
Period 3: 1:30–2:15 p.m.
Period 5: 2:20–3:10 p.m.

SABERS INSURANCE FUNDRAISER

Sabers Insurance Agency is excited to host our Annual School Supply Drive-Thru on Tuesday, August 25, from 7:00 to 8:30 a.m. in our office parking lot at 2327 Junction Ave. All donated school supplies and monetary contributions will directly benefit students at Sturgis Elementary School (SES), Sturgis Williams Middle School (SWMS), and Sturgis Brown High School (SBHS).

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, they've donated more than $7,500 in school supplies to Sturgis Schools over the past four years. We look forward to continuing this tradition and helping local students start the school year with the supplies they need to succeed!
