Applications for our AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) Program are opening soon for current 6th and 7th Graders. Students who wish to apply to AVID can request a link to the application from any 6th or 7th grade teacher or see Mr. Harris in room 253.

We need you on the School Governance Council! If you would like more information about the charter system or SGC elections, visit our school’s SGC website or the FCS Charter System Overview. Please submit an Election Declaration Form before 3/27.

Calling all volleyball players! Riverwood is hosting an interest meeting on March 11 at 6 PM in the Riverwood Media Center. This session will cover spring tryouts and summer training schedules for students entering high school next year, as well as the Jr Raiders volleyball program and summer camp. Put me in Coach! The B Baseball team has been busy gearing up for a great season. Catch them in action at their first home game on March 10!

All-State Chorus performed in Athens last weekend, and Ridgeview was represented by five outstanding students. Finn Crockett, Lana Hamilton, Alyssa Joelson, Eden Shure and Caroline Woods joined Mr. Robinson for a fun filled day and stellar performance. Bravo!

Fulton County School's annual Linguapalooza event was last weekend. This event provides a forum where middle school World Languages students may showcase their second language communication skills and be rewarded for their language proficiency. Panthers Zuri Harper and Elyana Tkachuk did us proud!

Our 8th grade Japanese class made origami cranes this week. Beautiful job!

The Jewish Heritage Club held a meeting this week and students learned about the Holiday of Purim and had the opportunity to make Hamantaschen.
