North Little Rock School District

The Arkansas Department of Education’s Division of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) has announced that, based on the 2024 ATLAS assessment results and cut scores, the NLRSD will no longer be required to participate in Act 1082 check-ins with the District Support Unit.

The School Choice Enrollment Period is taking place now until May 1.

School Choice is the process of requesting a transfer for your student from the district in which you live to a district in which you do not live. Applications and the necessary documents must be submitted by May 1. Submitting an application does not automatically guarantee acceptance. Acceptance will be verified by a letter.

Spread the word! Encourage your family, friends, and neighbors to choose the NLRSD!

Meadow Park Elementary School students Infinity Anderson, Chandre’a Hawkins, Selena Gilbert and Gabriella Brits led an effort to create a mural of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Their mural is inspired from the book Change Sings: A Children’s Anthem. MPE scholars will be reading this book throughout Black History Month.

Boone Park Elementary families are encouraged to attend a discussion session entitled "We Are In This Together." Attendees will get parenting tools and ideas on how to be supportive to your student.

Light refreshments will be served.

If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Kristen Valley, the Parent Engagement Professional, at (501) 340-5160.

North Little Rock High School and Center of Excellence counselors upload scholarships in the Class of 2025 Google Classroom account. Please encourage your senior or a senior you may know to apply for the scholarships. This is a chance to earn money to cut the cost of college tuition and fees.
