In times of a natural disaster like the one we experienced this past weekend, our community's strength and resilience are more important than ever. We understand that such events bring challenges, disruptions, and emotional distress to many of our families. As we navigate these difficulties together, I encourage everyone to be patient and compassionate with one another. Students may need additional support, teachers are working hard to adjust, and parents are doing their best to maintain stability at home. Let us remain understanding and flexible, offering kindness and assistance wherever possible. Our priority is ensuring the safety and well-being of all, and we will continue to provide updates and support as needed. Together, we will get through this with unity and care.

Attention Parents and Students:

This is the 4th week of the 5th Six Weeks. Final preparations are starting for STAAR testing; you will be getting messages from core teachers about STAAR tutorials during the week and Saturdays. Let's work together to ensure students are successful. Send students to school ready to learn!

Also, if your child is missing multiple days of school, please call Ms. Christina Trevino to get information on how to make up hours if necessary, 956-748-1200. Students can lose credit if they have unexcused absences that can only be made up through making up hours during the Spring semester. Students will not be able to make up hours during the summer, so please stay informed on hours owed.

Teachers:

Update grades weekly to keep parents informed on their student's progress. Make sure you are adding writing into your lesson plans. Let's help prepare students for their upcoming STAAR tests!

Tardy sweeps continue throughout the Six Weeks. Please continue to encourage your student to show up to school and class on time. Students have been doing a fantastic job at getting to class on time and remaining focused on learning.

The Mighty Bobcat Golden Guard is looking for new guard members for the upcoming school year!!!
