Welcome to another exciting week in Art! This week, students will continue building their artistic foundations by exploring one of the most important Elements of Art: Line. Artists use lines in many different ways to create movement, texture, patterns, and emotion. Students will learn that a simple line can become a powerful tool for creative expression!

✏️ Learning About Line Variation

Students will practice and explore different types of lines, including:

  • Thick and thin lines
  • Organic and geometric lines
  • Repeated lines and patterns
  • Lines that show movement and texture

We will look at how famous artists use line in their artwork and discuss how artists make intentional choices to create meaning.
