We've been lucky with the warmer temperatures the last few weeks but it's anticipated that the weather will turn colder. Be sure your child is dressed to go outside for recess by sending in a hat, mittens and jacket.

At times, the building temperature fluctuates by room, as the building is old. Please consider sending in a sweatshirt or sweater to keep in your child's locker in case it's needed.

If your child is out for more than 3 consecutive days, you must have a doctor's note in order for your child to return to school. If you need to email Nurse Hilton her email is as follows:

In Massachusetts, the law requires every person riding in a passenger motor vehicle to wear a seat belt that is properly fastened and adjusted. Children are required to sit in a federally approved child passenger restraint. The child's seat should be suitable for their age and weight. Please make sure your children are properly buckled into their seatbelts before exiting the school driveway.

The Weymouth Child Family Community Center and it's affiliated programs are funded by the Coordinated Family and Community Engagement (CFCE) grant from the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care and is administered by the Weymouth Public Schools.

The CFCE programs work to support all Weymouth families as their child's first teacher, develop community partnerships, and provide quality early educational experiences.

Parent Council is an amazing support to our Johnson ECC community. They help provide funding for Cultural Art Activities, support for STEM activities such as our aquarium, life cycle of the butterfly program, seeds and planting and support for teacher supplies in the classroom and many more initiatives.
