SPRING CONCERT & AWARDS CEREMONY THIS TUESDAY!
Our last performance of the year takes place this Tuesday at the Belton HS PAC. The Band Hall will close at 4:30pm that day, and all students are responsible for taking their instrument and music binder to the PAC. This concert performance is weighted double as 2 major grades and is critical to their success as a musician. Please remember that it is not possible to recreate a public performance, and all performances are a required part of our curriculum.
All students will wear their formal band uniform and leave their instrument case in their parent's vehicle (except for double reeds). All students will meet in the audience section of the PAC, not the high school band hall. Please review the attached information sheet below for all the details.
ALL SCHOOL-OWNED INSTRUMENTS DUE BACK NO LATER THAN THIS FRIDAY!
All School-Owned Instruments (including instruments that stay at home) are due back to school by this Friday, May 15 so we can evaluate which ones need to go to the repair shop over the summer for cleaning. If it is easier, feel free to just drop these off at the front office during regular school hours in order to turn them in.
Also, parents may now request an instrument for the summer for their student. This is done on a first come, first serve basis and we do not charge for summer check outs. Parents may submit a request by sending a ParentSquare message to Mr. Pulley. Please let us know if you have any questions.
Last Booster Meeting of the Year - THIS MONDAY
The last Band Booster Meeting of the year is this Monday at the Belton High School Band starting at 6:30pm. On the agenda: officer elections, committee signups, AJ Howard Scholarship information, and annual budget will be voted on. Come ask questions about band fees, payment plans, and financial aid opportunities.
Find out how you can contribute to the Marching 100 and Belton Band Boosters. All band, color guard, and jazz parents of BHS, BMS, and SBMS are encouraged to attend!
*Please see attached minutes below from the April meeting*
