School Site Council Elections
Congratulations to Audra Johnston Zamora who will serve on our School Site Council for the 2026-2027 and 2027-2028 school year!

Run Club Tuesdays

With Run Club kicking off at 7:45 a.m. every Tuesday, parking on campus will be limited. Please plan ahead on Tuesday mornings by walking, biking, or parking off campus whenever possible.

And hey…why not JOIN Run Club while you’re here?! Lace up those sneakers, get moving, and start your Tuesday with some Wildcat energy!

Wildcat Buck Store Volunteers Needed

Our Wildcat Buck Store is a fun way to celebrate students for demonstrating the Wildcat Way—Safe, Respectful, Responsible, and Always Awesome! We are looking for a few wonderful volunteers to help students shop and keep our store running smoothly.

Fund Run – Wednesday, September 30
Get ready for our biggest PTA fundraiser of the year—the Fund Run! This fun-filled event helps support field trips, assemblies, and enrichment opportunities for all Wildcats. Please see the flyer below for more information about how you can get involved.

We are thrilled to welcome award-winning author Mac Barnett to our school! This is a wonderful opportunity for our kindergarten - third grade students to meet a beloved author and celebrate the joy of reading. To make this visit extra special, families can purchase a signed copy of one of Mac Barnett’s books for their child to have as a lasting keepsake from this exciting experience. As we transition into a new school year, we need "all hands on deck," especially while we establish lunch time routines.

Altamont Creek Elementary is looking for several adult volunteers to become part of our Lunch Bunch. These volunteers will help assist and supervise students during their lunch break. Please sign up for as few or as many time slots as you are able. We appreciate all the help!

Clear Out the Closets, Help Our Community!

Before you head into the weekend, we have a quick favor to ask! Our September Clothing Drive will be on Wed & Thurs next week, and we need your help to make it a success.

While you're resetting for the weekend, it’s the perfect time to do a quick closet sweep. We are collecting gently used:

• Clothes
• Shoes
• Linens (towels, sheets, blankets)
• Old Backpacks

Bag up your unwanted items in a 13 gallon white trash bag labeled ALTAMONT CREEK ELEMENTARY and drop them off at Lost & Found during pickup on Wed afternoon or drop off on Thursday morning. Every bag makes a difference!

REMINDER: all remaining Lost & Found items will be included, so be sure to go look for any missing items before Wednesday!!
