Shepard Graduation 2025 Details

With spring break on the horizon, we know our 8th-grade Spartans are feeling it, and we are sure you are feeling similar: graduation is coming! We want to send a quick note about the details of graduation as we know many families are starting the planning process to celebrate your children. We are excited to celebrate with you.

When: Monday, June 2nd

• Students should arrive by 4:50 - 5:00 pm. They should come to the Deerfield High School lobby, and they will be directed to a meeting room.
• Doors will open at 5:00 pm.
• The ceremony begins at 5:30 pm and will last approximately one hour.
• The PTSO will host a celebration in the Deerfield High School cafeteria beginning around 6:30 pm. Tickets will be available soon on the PTSO website.
• There will be plenty of parking available as our graduation is the only event of the night on the 2nd!

Seating is limited in the auditorium at Deerfield High School. As such, each family will receive four tickets for graduation (this does not include your child or children graduating). Tickets are required to enter the auditorium and will be collected.

We encourage families who are seeking extra tickets to ask other families first. We will have a waiting list, but there is no guarantee that we will have extra tickets, so please check with other families.

These will both be given to graduates on Friday, May 30th during graduation practice.

Students will attend school on Monday, June 2nd but will have an early release at 10:00 am. During that morning, we will practice for the graduation ceremony again. There will be busing available on Monday at 10:00 am.
