Ingraham News Ingraham News

Hi Ingraham Families,

What a year to be grateful. I just want to send a heartfelt thank you to you all, Ingraham community. You all show up for your kid, give to ensure our students have resources, volunteer to make sure our events run smoothly, and offer your talents to help our school reach its full potential. Ingraham is a special place because of our community😊

Club List

In our feedback survey, many of you asked for a club list. Below is a link to all the clubs Ingraham offers and how to sign up for those clubs.

Graduation Date

A number of folks have reached out about when graduation will be. Because of Memorial Stadium renovation, our district hasn’t set a date yet. They are trying to find a venue for the schools who don’t have a stadium to hold graduation. When I’m notified of a date, I’ll be sure to send it out to families ASAP!

Open House

Ingraham has moved its Open House date to January 8th because open enrollment has moved up a month. There is a team of people working on setting up Open House to be a fun event for folks interested in attending Ingraham next year.

An Appeal for the Annual Appeal: An Appeal for the Annual Appeal:

We are reaching the end of the Friend's of Ingraham's once-a-year Annual Appeal and we are only at 44% of our goal. We really need your help!

Without you we cannot support:

Community Grants
for classroom projects and academic programs
Bright Futures for students facing housing/food insecurity
Staff & Teacher Appreciation because they are the reason Ingraham is an exceptional school!

If you can, please take a moment today and make a donation (and tell your friends!). Your students, staff, teachers, and the FOI board, thank you!

This Week’s PRIDE Award Winner: Ingraham Artists This Week’s PRIDE Award Winner: Ingraham Artists

These students are beginning a community art project: Painting panels that will cover the rain boxes on Lake Union under the I-5 overpass. Our students will eventually create 16 painted panels to cover all four sides of all four boxes, transforming something functional into something beautiful for the whole community to enjoy. This is just the start, and their work is already looking amazing!

Fall 2025 Career Fair Fall 2025 Career Fair

Over 200 students participated in the Fall Career Fair! They learned about internships, jobs, and training opportunities offered by a variety of industries, like Seattle Youth Maritime, Evergreen Goodwill Maritime Program, Evergreen Beauty School, PIMA Medical Institute, Seattle Police Department, King County Metro, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Army, North Seattle College, Shoreline College, Community for Youth, , Seattle Schools XIP Program, and the Veterans for Peace. A few organizations will reschedule for special speaking engagements in the near future and/or Ingraham’s Spring Career Fair in March. Prizes were donated by these agencies, too, as well as Friends of Ingraham. Much appreciation to the volunteers, custodial staff, and Kyle Hoffman and students for helping set up and clean up!
