Percentage of Scholars who took the WIDA
- Internet Academy: 84% scholars finished testing
- Open Doors: 63% scholars finished testing (This includes Pathways scholars that were tested by Highline College)
- Career Academy: 100% scholars finished testing
- Employment Transition Program: 85%

When will WIDA Results be available?
- June 2026, WIDA Score Reports are sent home by email
- Sept. 2026 a hard copy by snail mail
What score do I need to EXIT ML Services?
- Grades K-1: 4.0 Minimum Overall Score
- Grades 2-12: 4.7 Minimum Overall Score (or for Grades 3-12, 4.3-4.6 on WIDA AND a score of 3 or 4 on State ELA Assessment)
WIDA Alt ACCESS
- 4.0 Overall Minimum Score
They help teachers to support ML Scholars
Teachers use the WIDA Can Do Descriptors to:
- Plan effective lessons
- Provide learning opportunities to help develop your child's English proficiency in Listening, Speaking, Reading & Writing.
They determine ML Services for 2026-27 School Year
WA State uses the results of the WIDA test to determine whether scholars qualify for ML Services each year across the state and districts.

If you need to speak to your teacher or school in another language than English, please ASK for a Language Interpreter. We can call you or meet you in a Zoom with an interpreter. If we are in-person at school, we can call an interpreter on speaker phone or request an interpreter to come to the building.
