We’re excited to announce that our PTO SchoolStore fundraiser is underway! Your child should have received a lanyard on Monday (or will be receiving one soon). Please follow the set-up instructions and return the lanyard to earn the sign-up prize!

There are many exciting events coming up, and plenty of ways to get involved! We’ll also be scheduling our annual Buddy Breakfasts in the coming months – Edison’s own version of “Open House.” More information will be sent home in the weeks ahead.

Our elementary schools adopted a new schedule this year. We have been discussing the pros and cons of the schedule as it relates to students and staff, and some of the buildings are piloting an new schedule option. Currently, students have three Related Arts classes in a row every third day. With our new schedule, they will have two Related Arts classes in a row every other day. The classroom teachers will keep families informed about the days when tennis shoes are needed and library books are due. This new schedule will begin on Monday, January 27th.

*Note: Miss Zeno and Mrs. Cosentino will continue to communicate their schedules with families.

Order forms were sent home with students. Contact the office if an additional form is needed.

Our SOAR Store is officially open! Edison students may purchase items on their STEAM day during class. 3D printed designs and vinyl stickers are available for $1 to $4. All proceeds go right back into the lab so that we can purchase filament, vinyl, engineering kits, building materials, and more.

If you believe your child is experiencing challenges in terms of their mental well-being, it is important to reach out to your principal. To meet your child’s needs, it’s essential to collaborate with the principal and school personnel to explore resources and services available at school. In addition to Crossroads Counselors, the District also has family liaisons and guidance counselors who can provide needed interventions and support.

Did you know that the BusZone app provides you with a real time bus locator? Download the app so that you can check on the status of your child's school bus. The BusZone app has replaced the Petermann Bus Tracker which is no longer available.

A 2025 Chevrolet Trax 1LS is up for grabs! Raffle tickets are available at this specific Edison link on the Car Raffle Website. All proceeds will go directly to Edison! The drawing will be held at the North-South Basketball game on January 24, 2025.

Edison families and staff are automatically part of our PTO! Meetings are the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm in the Edison Eagle Landing. You can reach out to the PTO via email at eagles@edisonpto.org, and can follow them on Facebook and Instagram.
