Meet Libby Miller, Flagstaff High School Principal
Libby Miller has a Bachelor’s Degree from Northern Arizona University, Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Portland State University, and is currently working on her doctorate in Educational Leadership from Lewis and Clark College. She recently relocated back to Flagstaff from the Portland, Oregon area where she previously served as the Executive Director of Middle School Programs at North Clackamas School District, and as a Principal and Vice Principal with Oregon City School District.
Ms. Miller is focused on student success and leads with an equity lens. She is collaborative, and takes pride in listening to and connecting with stakeholders. Libby is excited to continue working with the administrative team and staff to support the strong programs and traditions of Flagstaff High School.
Welcome to Team FUSD, Libby!
United Way Campaign
Congratulations Team FUSD on a successful fundraising campaign this year for the United Way of Northern Arizona. Your generosity demonstrated our District's commitment to Step Up for our Community to provide for those in need and to support school readiness with KinderCamp and free books to children.
We exceeded our fundraising goal and doubled last year's giving by raising $10,570 for the United Way of Northern Arizona. Superintendent Penca is planning an outdoor movie night for FUSD staff and your families on the evening of May 19, 2022, at the Coconino High School stadium and field to celebrate you making a difference in our communities.
We Need Your Input!
During the coming weeks, we will have two surveys which we encourage all employees to participate in. The first is our annual district-wide employee culture and climate survey and this second is our diversity and inclusion survey. Your opinions are important to us, and these surveys are your chance to express those opinions.
These surveys are being managed by National Business Research Institute (NBRI) and Panorama, who we have used in prior years. Each organization will host the survey and be collecting your responses through an online platform. All responses will remain anonymous and we will not be able to trace individual responses back to you. Please be thoughtful, honest, and candid when you complete the survey.
The culture and climate survey allows FUSD to get a better understanding of employee morale, satisfaction, and engagement. Panorama topics include cultural awareness, diversity and equity, professional learning, well-being, sense of bellowing, and growth mindset.
Your responses are vital for Team FUSD to understand your perceptions and experiences. Your voice is important to FUSD and we thank you for devoting your time and providing candid input. This is your opportunity to have your voice heard.
