Field Trip is this Wednesday.
The kids are so EXCITED for the field trip. I have some important updates for my three chaperones. If you would like to ride the bus, you can now, or you can still drive yourselves. Even if you drive yourself, you will need to come to the school to show your ID and get a tag. My chaperones are Mrs. Douglass, Mrs. Jenkins, and Mrs. Sistrunk.
If your child is bringing a lunch from home, please make sure everything is disposable and in a gallon Ziploc bag so that it can be dumped. Please also make sure they have something to drink in their Ziploc bag.
Each class is to wear the same color so that it is easier to do a head count. Our color for our class this time is green. Please make sure your students wear a green shirt/dress on Oct. 21st! Thank you

General Reminders
1. Students need their purple folder every day.
2. Please check students' folders for behavior and homework. Please know that homework is only meant as a review and should never take more than 10- 20 minutes. at the most. If it does, please stop and work on it at another time. I firmly believe that kids need play time and time with family, esp. after being in school all day.
3. If you have not already, please make sure your student has extra clothes left at school in case of an accident. Also please replace their extra clothes at school if these extra clothes are sent home.
4. If you have a change of transportation, I must have a note either in their folder, through SeeSaw or email. Without a note, they will have to go home their regular way.
5. Students must be fever-, vomit-, and diarrhea-free for 24 hours without medication before returning. Please include a note with there has been an absent.
6. If you are sending in money for Kona Ice, field trips etc. please put it in either an envelope or a baggy with the students name on it and what it is for.
7. Students will have to return their library books back to school every Friday.
